Willie Townesend,left and Joe Brown both employees of the Mississippi State Capitol are seen raising and lowering commemorative State flags. They raised and lowered over 100 flags today, that have been purchased by people from all around the world, and they have each flown over the Capitol, just hours before Governor Tate Reeves signed a historic Bill HB1796 decommissioning the state flag and opening the door to a new flag without the Confederate emblem that has flown for 126 years.
