Mississippi to lower old state flag at Capital

Reena Evers, daughter of slain civil rights leader Medgar Evers is seen leaving the governors mansion afterGovernor Tate Reeves signing the historic Bill HB1796 decommissioning the state flag and opening the door to a new flag without the Confederate emblem that has flown for 126 years. She was elated and thought she would never see this day.
