John Lewis Funeral Brown Chapel A.M.E.Church Selma Alabama

7/25/2020 On the anniversary of President Lyndon Johnson signing the Voting Rights Act, Congressman John Lewis's casket is pulled by a horse drawn carriage and lead by the Honor Guard across the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma for the L=last time. The casket is headed to the State Capitol where he will lay in state. rMourners lined up to pay their last respects at the Historic Brown A.M.E. Chapel Church after a private ceremony their was a public viewing with an open casket for the last time. Congressman and Civil Rights icon John Lewis's casket is seen being carried out of historic Brown Chapel A.M.E. Church at the end of the last public viewing with the casket open before he is brought across the Edmund Pettus Bridge for the last time on his way to lay in state at the Alabama.
