Suzi Altman is a professional freelance photographer with
over fifteen years of experience, specializing in editorial,
advertising, portrait, photojournalism, event photography
and location work. Before moving to Mississippi in 2000,Ms.
Altman was based in New York City for ten years. While there
she worked on staff at the Associated Press for four years
as well as interned for Rolling Stone Magazine and world renowned
photographer Mary Ellen Mark. During her years in New York
City Ms. Altman also covered some of the top news stories,
and was a freelance event photographer, in addition to pursuing
her social documentary work on the homeless. Since moving
to Jackson Mississippi in 2000, Ms. Altman has continued to
work on top news stories including 911, Emmett Till and Hurricane
Katrina, as well as numerous corporate events including the
opening of the Billion Dollar Nissan Vehicle Plant. Altman’s
client list includes The New York Times, USA Today, Reuters
News Agency, Random House Publishing and Maris, West, and
Baker Advertising among a growing list of happy clients. |
